Zurich, Switzerland, 1998: A Nobel Prize man! We do love a Nobel Prize winner, no matter how irrelevant the Peace version of that honour has become. Vladimir Prelog was a Croatian organic chemist who picked up the gong in 1975, for his research into the stereochemistry of organic molecules and reactions. We have no idea what that means. He did though, and that is all that matters. Interestingly, he was present at the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, albeit as a confused eight year old boy. #anillustratedhistoryofslavicmisery #prelog #vladimirprelog #nobelprize #switzerland #croatia #organic #chemist #chemistry #molecule #science #travel #travelgram #traveling #hrvatska #sarajevo #bosnia #prague #zagreb #zurich #croatiafulloflife #visitzagreb #visitzurich #biochemist
